1. Provider and scope

CercaPosta is provided by WpWeb S.r.l., via Livorno 60, 10144 Turin, Italy, tax and VAT ID 07292240012, certified email info@pec.wpweb.com. These terms cover accounts and the web, desktop and mobile clients. Commercial terms appear in the Sales Terms.

2. Accounts

Self-service registration is for people aged 18 or over. Provide accurate data, verify your email and protect your password, second factor and recovery kit. You are responsible for use of your credentials and must report suspected access promptly.

An account may join multiple organisations. Owners and admins manage membership; billing admins manage commercial matters. These roles never grant access to another member's private email.

3. Acceptable use

Only archive data you are authorised to process. You must not break the law, infringe rights, distribute malware, bypass security or allowances, scrape abusively, disrupt the service or automate fraudulent account creation. Integrations must comply with the connected mail system's terms.

4. Customer data

You retain ownership of uploaded data and grant WpWeb only the rights technically needed to provide the service. The customer organisation determines purposes, users, sources, retention and optional AI for data it controls and remains responsible for notices and permissions.

CercaPosta is an archive and search tool, not a substitute for backup, regulated preservation, legal advice or professional judgment unless separately agreed in writing.

5. AI and follow-up

AI output may be wrong. Check answers against sources and original messages. External reminders and actions require human review where provided. Do not use AI for high-impact automated decisions without appropriate review and legal basis.

6. Availability and changes

WpWeb applies reasonable security and availability measures, but maintenance, failures and dependencies may interrupt service. Clients and functions may change for security, compatibility or improvement without arbitrarily removing essential purchased performance.

7. Suspension and termination

We may limit or suspend an account for abuse, security risk, legal duties or non-payment, with notice where feasible. Exceeding an allowance never deletes data; new ingestion may pause after any grace period. Export at termination is available within plan, contract and technical limits.

When a plan ends, no free plan is assigned automatically. Writes and synchronisation stop. For the first 30 days you may read, search and export the archive in read-only mode; it is then locked. Permanent deletion may be scheduled 90 days after expiry, is never automatic and always has a final warning of at least 24 hours. A legal hold suspends the procedure.

8. Intellectual property

Software, marks, design and documentation remain with WpWeb or their owners. You receive a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable right to use the service during the relationship.

9. Warranty and liability

The service is provided with professional care. To the extent allowed by law, WpWeb is not liable for indirect loss, lost opportunities, or consequences of customer data, configuration, providers or decisions. Mandatory consumer rights and liability for fraud, wilful misconduct or gross negligence remain unaffected.

10. Governing law

Italian law applies. Consumers retain the mandatory forum of their residence; for non-consumers Turin has jurisdiction unless otherwise agreed. Support: assistenza@cercaposta.it.
